illuminate Kids exists to help children discover who God is and who He has created them to be! Illuminate kids provides a loving, safe, and fun environment where children can learn and grow in their faith.

illuminate Kids serves children from birth – 5th grade. Our school-aged children use 252 Basics curriculum. Through this curriculum, children are taught three basic truths, taken from Luke 2:52:

1 // I need to make the wise choice (wisdom)

2 // I can trust God no matter what (faith)

3 // I should treat others the way I want to be treated (friendship)

Our Babies – Preschool age kids use First Look curriculum. Through age appropriate activities, Preschoolers are building their spiritual foundation so that by the time they graduate to Kindergarten, they know these three basic truths:

1 // God Made Me

2 // God Loves Me

3 // Jesus Wants To Be My Friend Forever

Each week at illuminate Kids, children will be presented with an engaging and relevant lesson that teaches from these truths. They will also experience dynamic worship, exciting games, and plenty of opportunities to build relationships. So come ready to learn, make friends, and have fun!

Each week, children will participate in dynamic worship, exciting games, and an engaging lesson designed to convey a biblical truth in a meaningful, relevant, and creative way.

Will my child be safe?

Safety is our top priority at illuminate kids. All of our volunteers undergo background checks and training, and our check-in system ensures that only authorized adults can pick up a child. Your child will be safe and well cared for while at illuminate kids!

Can I stay with my child during service?

In order to maintain the safety and integrity of our ministry, our policy is to allow only background- checked adults to stay in the cafeteria with the children once service starts. If you are needed at any time during the service, the number on the Parent Receipt that you receive at check-in will appear on the screen in the main auditorium.

Can my child attend if they are sick?

While we hate for any child to miss out on a Sunday, in order to ensure the health of our leaders and other children present we ask that you please keep your child with you if he or she is not well.

Please be considerate of the other children and do not bring your child to class if they have any of the following symptoms:

— A fever 100 degrees or higher (in the past 24 hours)

— Colored mucus (runny nose)

— Diarrhea or vomiting — no matter the cause
(includes teething, medication, etc.)

— Excessive coughing and/or a common cold

— Sore throat

— Any unexplained rash or skin infection

— Pink eye or eye infection (mucus or redness of the eye)

— Lice (eggs or nits)

— Any other communicable disease

— All children must be free of the symptoms without medication for the past 24 hours.

Thank you for understanding these guidelines and helping us make our classrooms healthy for all of our children!

Does my child need to bring anything on a Sunday morning?

If your child is still in diapers, please provide a diaper bag with diapers and wipes. If your child will need a bottle during service, please provide one for the nursery leaders, who will label the bottle and feed your child based on your instructions. Otherwise, all your child needs to bring on a Sunday morning is a teachable spirit!

Do you need volunteers?

Yes! illuminate kids is always growing, and we are always looking for volunteers to join our team. If you are 12 years old (6th grade) or older, we have volunteer opportunities available for you! Please us this link for our volunteer application:

At illuminate kids, we serve children from birth – 5th Grade. We have four classes:

2 – 3 years old

PreK 4 — 5 years old

Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Our check-in system at illuminate Kids is designed to keep your child/children safe during service. Our parent receipt system ensures that only an authorized adult is picking up a child at dismissal. The parent receipt also provides the leaders of illuminate kids with a way to contact you during the service. Please make sure you children are checked in before they enter the cafeteria, using the following steps:

1 // To begin, approach the Check-In desk and wait for the first available attendant. Give the attendant your last name to bring up your family information. If you are a first time guest, let the attendant know, and they will give you a new family form to fill out. Your information will then be entered into our system.

2 // The attendant will print out a name tag for your child, and a Parent Receipt with a number that corresponds to your child’s name tag.

3 // If you are needed at any point during the service, we will place your Parent Receipt number on the screen in the main service. If this occurs, please return to the cafeteria immediately.

4 // After service, bring you Parent Receipt back to your child’s assigned area. The leader will verify the number and your child will be released to you.

If you lose your parent receipt at any point during the service, please head to the check-in table before picking up your child. Be prepared to show identification in order to receive a new receipt.
